The rapping duo Felt, one part Slug of Atmosphere and one part Murs, drops their third album, Felt 3: A Tribute to Rosie Perez, November 17th. They’ve kept the theme of dedicated their albums to random actresses (with former albums declaring their love for Cristina Ricci and Lisa Bonet) however they have changed the production, moving from Ant (one of the best producers I have ever heard and the other member of Atmosphere) to fellow underground name Aesop Rock.
Felt has produced a number of quality songs including my very favorite, “Dirty Girl”, but it’ll be interesting to see what the album sounds like without Ant’s signature production. Give it a go, then tell me how you really feel.
